La poste
La Poste is a large group of local services, based in the territories. By combining the strength of the human factor with digital solutions, it develops services to simplify the lives of its customers. It has the ambition to enrich its mail offering, to be a major player in the growth of e-commerce and urban logistics, to develop a European bancassurance group, to create new services of human proximity and to become a third party of digital trust at the service of all actors. It implements a legal compliance approach to ensure the greatest transparency in corporate governance, but also to ensure compliance with the standards that govern its activities, and relations with its employees. Beyond that, La Poste complements and extends the fulfilment of these obligations by proactive policies in all areas of its social and environmental responsibility. The Group is also a signatory to the Global Compact, which brings together companies that are committed to a socially responsible attitude by integrating and promoting several principles related to human rights, international labour standards, and the fight against corruption. Geopost also committed to the Global Compact in 2017, signing a global agreement on fundamental human rights and freedom of association with the UNI Global Union. The La Poste Group has placed its environmental policy within the framework of the Paris climate agreement with the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants, and supports the development of a circular economy.
